| Clothianidin 480G/L SC is a second-generation neonicotinoid highly effective insecticide. With its triple activity of contact, stomachic and systemic effects, it achieves a control effect of "killing pests both above and below the ground, with long-lasting efficacy", and is the mainstream choice to replace highly toxic organophosphorus pesticides. I. Core Mechanism of Action By binding to the nicotine acetylcholine receptors in the insect nervous system, it blocks the transmission of neural signals, causing the pests to become abnormally excited and paralyzed, ultimately leading to death. It has no cross-resistance with pyrethroids and organophosphates and can effectively control resistant pest situations. II. Main Target Pests Suitable for various crops such as rice, vegetables, fruit trees, wheat, and corn. The key control targets are: Above-ground piercing pests (core target) Aphids: Aphids on vegetables, fruit trees, wheat, and cotton. Fungus gnats: Rice fungus gnats, tobacco aphids, whitefly. Thrips: Onion and garlic thrips, citrus thrips, vegetable thrips. Cicadas/woodlice: Rice cicadas, citrus woodlice, pear woodlice. Underground pests (dominant area) Due to its strong systemic activity and good soil stability, it has excellent efficacy against pests hidden in the soil: Rice root maggots/Garlic root maggots: Root maggots of rice and garlic (the preferred choice to replace thiamethoxam). Grasshoppers/loosening beetles: Underground pests of peanuts, wheat, and corn. Grasshoppers/locusts: Underground pests of various crops during the seedling stage. Other pests Orthoptera: Yellow-spotted jumping insect, potato beetle. Diptera: Leaf beetles, fruit flies. |
