It is a new type of neonicotinoid insecticide, mainly used to control piercing-sucking and chewing mouthpart pests (such as aphids, whiteflies, grubs, and onion maggots). The application method is as follows:
1. Foliar spraying: When controlling above-ground pests such as aphids, whiteflies, and mealybugs, dilute the solution to 2000-3000 times and spray it evenly on the upper and lower sides of the crop leaves. The best effect is achieved when the pest infestation is in the early stage; if the pest situation is severe, a supplementary spray can be made every 10-14 days, with a maximum of 2 applications per season.
2. Soil treatment/Root irrigation: When controlling underground pests such as grubs, onion maggots, and root-knot nematode-associated pests, dilute the solution to 1500-2000 times and apply it along the roots of the crops, or make a toxic soil trench and cover it with soil; the dosage of the preparation is approximately 200-300 milliliters per acre, and the specific amount can be adjusted according to soil moisture and pest density.
3. Seed treatment: For large-field crops such as corn and wheat, mix the seeds at a ratio of 0.2%-0.3% of the seed weight, dry them, and then sow them. This can effectively control underground pests and early aphids during the seedling stage.
Precautions: Do not mix with alkaline pesticides; avoid spraying during the flowering period when bees are active; follow the crop safety interval period, and stop using 7-14 days before harvest (specifically depending on the crop type).
