Paraquat is a large variety of non-selective herbicide, used as a quick-acting, broad-spectrum, contact type, insecticidal herbicide. After the bipyridine cation is rapidly absorbed by the leaves of plants, it is reduced to bipyridine free group in the green tissue through photosynthesis and respiration, and the water and oxygen in the leaf tissue form and peroxygen free group through autoxidation, destroying the chloroplast layer, stopping photosynthesis and chlorophyll synthesis, and promoting drying.

The chemical agent was used before seedling, lost its activity in contact with soil, and had no effect on crop seedlings unearthed after spraying. No effect on brown bark, woody tree trunks are safe. Light increases the effect of the drug. Cloudy days delay the effect of the medicine.

 

Usage:

After wheat and rape were harvested, leaf surface treatment was carried out with 30 ~ 45 mL/100m2 of 20% water agent and 3 ~ 4.5kg of water for the previous stalk and weeds in the field without ploughing. This method can also be used after rice harvest. Usage	1. The lethal dose for adults is about 5-15 mL (1-3 g) or 40 mg/kg in 20% aqueous solution, and long-term skin exposure to paraquat solution can also cause death. It has the highest rate of acute poisoning deaths in humans.
