| Mode of action | Non-selective herbicide used before crop emergence to kill ground weeds and dry them out. It is used for weeding orchards, mulberry orchards, rubber orchards, rice fields, drylands and no-till fields. |
| Usage | 1. | Mammalian Toxicology | Toxic The oral LD50 dichloride of rats is 155-203 mg/kg, and the dimethyl sulfate is 320 mg/kg, which is low toxic to poultry, fish and bees. It's extremely toxic to humans, and there's no specific antidote. The lethal dose for adults is about 5-15 mL (1-3 g) or 40 mg/kg in 20% aqueous solution, and long-term skin exposure to paraquat solution can also cause death. It has the highest rate of acute poisoning deaths in humans. |
| Cautions | 1. Paraquat is an insecticidal herbicide. It is used in gardens and crops during their growing period. It should not pollute crops to avoid drug damage. 2. Take protective measures when dispensing and spraying, wear rubber gloves, masks and overalls. If the liquid spills into the eyes or skin, rinse immediately. 3. Do not float the liquid onto fruit trees or other crops when using, and the vegetable field must be used when there are no vegetables. 4. Spray to be uniform and thoughtful, 0.1% detergent can be added to the liquid medicine to improve the adhesion of the liquid medicine.
