Uses | Flonicamid: Under development as a foliar, selective aphicide; also effective against some other sucking insects. For use in fruit, cereals, potatoes, cotton and vegetables. It is effective against all kinds of stinging and sucking insects and has good penetration. It can penetrate from the root to the stem and the leaf, but the infiltration from the leaf to the stem and the root is relatively weak. The agent works by blocking the sucking action of pests. After ingesting the drug, the pests quickly stopped sucking and eventually starved to death. According to electronic insect sucking behavior (EMIF) analysis, this agent can prevent aphids and other sucking insects from inserting the oral needle tissue into the plant tissue. |
